Equal Rights

I wouldn't get into an argument with me, as nothing you say will or can change my viewpoint at this time. But I want to make a quick and short statement about equal rights and homosexual life.
I just want to make sure that whoever is reading this, before they click away because that first small disclaimer above seems like I'm going to be against the cause, that I totally support and love the idea of equal rights.
Here's a question for those who appose it. Do you know how to think without the bible? Can you form personal opinions based off of own thought? Have you thought that your harmful words and intolerance is a form of bullying? You might disagree, but this form of hate flowing like electricity through every church at the moment (and say what you want, you can believe it's not hate, because you say you still love the person, but know that you're basically saying that you hate their choices) is exactly the same prejudice and disagreement that normal southern white folks in Little Rock Kansas had when Melba Pattillo Beals and the Little Rock nine integrated Central High School. And I'm not saying that every church believes this. Know that I am aware of the slight tolerance in some churches. I just get bothered when these churches try to change a homosexual to the "right" path, because you can't change the natural love of a human being. And I am also not saying that this hate represents every Christian, LDS, Catholic ETC. and so on, I know there are some people with their heads screwed on right.
Now for those reading this that are homosexual, BI, transgender, lesbian and so on, I want you to know, that I fully support and love your decisions. I want you to know that there is hope for this cause. I truly believe that someday this law will pass. I want you guys to have the same level of respect in the world and the same level of rights that heterosexuals do. Know, that though this might be a tough time, because of constant infliction of ignorant postings and comments on Facebook and media, that there is always something better, that there is always a light at the end of that dark grimy tunnel (I know, cheesy) and that the world is a cruel and beautiful place. I want the world to love and support everything you do, so we all need to fight for our rights.
Now, to another point. (one of my last) What is considered right anymore? The sanctity of marriage doesn't mean anything anymore. People who use that excuse do not know what they are talking about because divorce, cheating, adultery are all common things in the world, ruining the so called "sanctity". Two men, or two women that love each other isn't going to affect you. I'm sorry for the news, but it's not. Love is an important part of human interaction, sex shouldn't be seen only for pro creation if it's under the correct terms (I mean really, when you have sex, are you thinking, I REALLY WANT TO MAKE A BABY EVERY TIME WE DO IT). I also want to bring up the discussion of two men or two women raising a child. Sure they don't have the same benefits as one man and one woman, but have you ever heard of abuse? Molestation? Did you know that parents do that!?!?! Did you have any idea... haha WOW, I sure didn't! I guess two loving parents of the same sex (and don't get me wrong, they could eventually be molesting abusers as well) can't bring up a child well because of their gender. There are plenty cases of children that grew up in gay households that grew up perfectly normal. And you know why? Because they had two loving parents who supported everything they did. Two parents who loved and cared unconditionally for their child.
Us as humans aren't ones to judge. God is the one that will judge. Love and support. Sin is a sin, but things changed since that biblical time. I find it funny that we chose to cling on to that one factor. The story of Sodom and Gomorrah is a contrived scripture. Did you know that the father in the story commits incest with his daughters? Or that anal rape back in the medieval times was a form of punishment and torture, and not of just sexual attraction? That the city was burned to the ground, not only because of homosexuality, but because of reckless sexual activity, murder, adultery and selfishness?
I know this might be bias, and I'm no expert on the Bible, but I'd like to think of a world, where everyone has a loving understanding of feelings and emotions of humans. Also, if you research the topic a bit more, homosexuality has been proven to be genetic. This means that being straight is genetic too. So being homosexual basically makes you a freak right? -_-
In final, here is my reiteration of the fact, that I love and fully support equal rights. But I do not enjoy the idiotic ignorant bigoted bible hugging narrow minded religious brain washed people that come with good news, that do not enjoy when a group of people have the same rights they do. I'm sorry if I offended you, but this is my opinion.
Love Sterling.
P.S. I guess I didn't clarify that I am a 14 year old male in my past post.......so...now you know!! :)
